Healing our Habitat

We often talk about ‘THE’ environment, but this is about ‘OUR’ environment: how we connect to nature on a personal level to create a balanced and healthy lifestyle and ecosystem: at home, in the garden, at work, at school and at play.

“Ecology is the study of home while economics is its management. Ecologists study the conditions and principles that determine the long-term survival of species. It seems obvious that managing our "home" would depend on understanding these conditions and principles. But in elevating economics above everything else, we ignore the reality that we live within and make a living from the finite confines of the biosphere - the thin layer of air, water, and soil where all life exists.

Nothing within a finite world can grow indefinitely; there are limits. If we are to find a truly sustainable future, we have to put the eco back into economics.” John Seed

We invite you to join us in our efforts to promote the protection of all organisms in relation to their natural environment, and encourage the use of ecological principles in the development and conservation of Australia's natural resources.
